Your Daily Dose Of RPattz For Today (From A Sideview!)

You may sigh with pleasure now*breathe in and breathe out with contentment*

Our Peeps Are The Best This Year (This Took Wayy Too Long!)

Robert Pattinson is named MTV News’ #6 Man of the Year!
In 2009, all eyes were on RPattz. Despite only releasing one movie, there were few people whose face sold more magazines, whose every word made more of a ripple and whose public appearances caused such a stir. Under such pressure, a lot of 23-year-old actors would end up getting into trouble, indulging to the point of excess and disappointing their fans. But somehow, the uniquely suited-for-stardom Robert Pattinson took it all with a good-natured grin and self-deprecating charm. In “Twilight” and beyond, his future seems so bright that he’ll likely be sparkling for quite some time.
Kristen Stewart is MTV News’ #7 Woman of 2009.
As the “New Moon” hype continued to build, KStew kept her indie cred intact. In March, she played a teenager suffering from a fatal nerve disease in “The Cake Eaters,” a tiny character drama directed by Mary Stuart Masterson. KStew researched her role by spending time with real-life sufferers of Friedreich’s ataxia and admitted that although she had a busy year ahead, she was glad the “Twilight” sequels were all filming so closely together.

Justin Chon Interviews Muse

Hello. This is Justin Chon from "The Twilight Saga" (you may know me better as Eric). MTV invited me to interview Muse and hang back stage at KROQ's annual Almost Acoustic Christmas concert. It was my first time being backstage at any concert, so I was extremely excited to see what it was all about. I have to say that I haven't had that much fun in a long long time.
I left my place at around 7 p.m. and headed over the the Gibson Amphitheater. When I got there, I was able to park in the VIP area because I was with the one and only MTV.
Once I got to the event, it was absolute mayhem. There were so many people in the backstage reception area. Famous people were just perusing about like nobody's business. I met up with the MTV crew and we started our little adventure. I saw my friend Joe Hahn from Linkin Park. Right away had a little problem because he heard me mention my favorite band was Muse. (I settled it by saying they were my second-favorite.)
Once we got inside, I was able to interview people like Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin from "Superbad"), Dr. Drew, Deryck Whibley from Sum 41 and a bunch of others. However, the fun really didn't start until I went back to where the band dressing rooms were. I ended up taking shots with Slightly Stoopid and hanging with the members of Phoenix. Chris from Vampire Weekend came up to me and asked, "Are you that guy from 'Twilight?'" and I said yes. He then said "Let's take a picture." I was like, "What?! You're the rock star!"
Later, I got to catch 311 and, at long last, Muse's performance. They were absolutely amazing. After their set, I went backstage and there was a whole mess of people outside the dressing room trying to get a chance to talk or take a picture with them. But of course because I was with MTV, I got full access to the band and interviewed them. I was a little nervous before I went in but I did my tantric breathing and ended up being fine.
The interview went smooth as butter. After the interview was over I took a picture with them and tried not to look too excited. All in all, it was a night I won't soon forget.

Ashley Greene Talks Prom

Ashley Greene has had some magical prom experiences — most famously giving her on-screen costar Bella a glam makeover for her evening out with Edward in Twilight. Her off-screen reality was quite different, though still pretty dreamy. In the 2010 issue of TeenPROM, Greene says, “I bought my dress and I pretty much paid for everything because my parents really didn’t have the money to pay for something like that. I worked for it, so I think it meant that much more to me because I had to save up.” She continues: “I went with my high school sweetheart and had a blast. I had that fairytale prom everyone talks about.” As a spokesperson for DonateMyDress.org, a charity that targets underprivileged prom-goers, the actress, who gave up her own hard-earned gold sequined gown for the cause, wants to ensure that other girls have similarly blissful memories. The 22-year-old starlet has the following advice for teens: “People have a lot of anticipation for an event like prom and end up overdoing it or wearing too much makeup. Really make sure you are comfortable because then you’ll feel beautiful, instead of going overboard and asking yourself, ‘Oh my gosh, what did I do?’” For more prom tips from Ashley, check out the new TeenPROM, which hits newsstands December 22, or visit teenmag.com.

Spend Time With Rachelle Lefevre and Save a Puppy

Ever thought to yourself, 'I sure wish I could sit down and have coffee and
dessert with "Twilight" vampire Rachelle Lefevre and ask what she really thinks
of Summit's decision to replace her with Bryce Dallas Howard? [who hasn't?!]
Among other things, of course. Like 'Did she ever make out with Robert Pattinson or was he always too busy with Miss My Socks Don't Smell Kristen Stewart?'
Sure you have. And here's your chance. Log on to eBay and start bidding to win the coffee-chat of a lifetime. The winning bid will benefit the animals of Best Friends Animal Society.

One lucky fan will get to know "Victoria" from "Twilight" and "New Moon." The bidding on eBay ends Thursday, Dec. 17 at 9 p.m. EST.

The winner will spend one whole hour with Rachelle over dessert and coffee at a popular Los Angeles eatery. Go ahead. Ask questions about her career and work on those two blockbusters that have made Rachelle a popular star. Ask her what Summit was thinking when they dumped her. Get the real scoop and then call us.

This amazing experience may also be given as a gift. So if you are the winning bidder, you could make a loved one's holiday wish come true--and help the animals at the same time.

Lefevre will present to the winning bidder a personalized, autographed mini-poster and headshot. And the lucky winner gets to bring three additional items to be autographed, and take as many as five personal photos with Rachelle. Five!

All proceeds go directly to one of Lefevre's favorite charities--Best Friends Animal Society. Rachelle is the spokesperson for the Best Friends "Puppies Aren't Products" campaign and you can see her PSA online anytime here.

This is an eBay Giving Works charitable listing.

The opening bid starts at $500 and there's no reserve. If you're the lucky winner, you have 90 days to plan your coffee chat. That gives you a lot of time to work on that list of questions.
So go out and help puppies and get face time with Rachelle!

'New Moon' Characters' Movie Picks For 2009

Over at Fearnet, they have compiled a list of movies that 'New Moon' characters would have loved to see:

What movies would New Moon's humans and vampires have loved in 2009? Face Punch notwithstanding, we pick their favorite films of the year… Face Punch
made for an awkward three-way date for Bella Swan, but it was just the
mind-numbing action movie she needed to distract herself from Edward in New
Moon. What other flicks would have made Bella's best of the year list? And which
of her Forks cohorts and Volturi frenemies have the year's hottest (and
freakiest) films in theirs?

Bella Swan – 2012
Nothing gets your mind off sparkly boys and heartache like seeing the whole world go down in flames. Roland Emmerich's disaster porn is just the cinematic cure for what nails Bella: rampant destruction, tons of violence, and the feeling that the world is coming to an end – which is exactly what she feels after breaking up with Edward.

Jacob Black – Where the Wild Things Are
If anyone knows that monsters can have a cuddly side, it's Jacob Black. Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are shares something primal and sensitive with Jacob's teen wolf psyche and proves that you can be a little wild and a little lovable at the same time. (Now, if only Bella Swan would go see it with him…)

Edward – Angels & Demons
Since Edward never sleeps, he spends a lot of time reading…and when he runs out of the classics, all that's left are cheesy bestsellers like Angels & Demons. Clandestine organizations operating beneath the streets of Italy have been on Edward's mind lately anyway. (Edward's secret guilty pleasure movie: Sandra Bullock's The Proposal.)

Alice – Knowing
It's tough being able to predict the future, especially when your visions reveal horrible scenes like an evil vampire tearing up a ballet studio and your BFF jumping off a cliff. So Alex Proyas's doomsday thriller is sort of cathartic for Alice.
After all, if Nicolas Cage can handle knowing the future, anyone can!

Charlie – Taken
What's a father to do when someone hurts his only daughter? If you're the strong and silent type like Charlie Swan, you send out an APB and worry in silence. If, on the other hand, you're Liam Neeson in Taken, you blast your way across Europe killing the sons of bitches. Charlie Swan approves.

Jessica – Zombieland
After that long-winded rant about zombie movies outside the biker bar, we thought Jessica Stanley was done with zombies forever. But then along came Zombieland, the undead sleeper hit of the year. Not even Jessica could resist its charms, although for a perfect double bill she'd pair it with Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Aro – Valentino the Last Emperor
He's old, he's Italian, and he likes to wear nice suits. And while Aro hasn't gotten out much in thousands of years of subterranean Volterra living, he'd make an exception for the acclaimed documentary about Italy's icon of style.

Victoria – Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
After losing James to the Cullen clan in Twilight, Victoria had nothing but vengeance on the brain. Naturally, a film about fighting that has the word "revenge" in the title
would make it to the top of her list, though she'd probably hit pause before the
good guys win in the end.

Paul – Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
Quileute hothead Paul loves being a werewolf. The only problem is, sometimes he loses control when he gets angry. So the third Underworld film is a perfect pick for him: the hero is a werewolf who leads an army of wolves to victory over their oppressive vampire captors.

Jane – Orphan
Beneath her innocent façade, the Volturi assassin Jane is a sadistic and brutal killer. So she can relate to little Esther, the misunderstood 9-year-old femme fatale of Jaume Collet-Serra's Orphan. (She might be the only person in the world who can.)

Didn't Know She Would Be On Jay Leno!

I saw this last night because I always watch "Jay", Anna was amazing! She drove the car for the Green Challenge and came right under Gerad Butler....for the roster!
